This STUNNING 22594 mile 380SL is exactly that-STUNNING!
This car was a one owner car until Amelia Island Gooding Auction of 2018.The car entered the auction with 21920 miles accumulated by the original owner.The car sold and since has only traveled another 665 miles.Upon obtaining this jewel from the auction the car was introduced to a new duo row timing chain,sprockets,guides,and tensioners.In addition to two row timing chain the car had all four brake calipers and hoses replaced along with a brake flush.The throttle and shift bushings were replaced,injectors serviced and intake system resealed along with boots.Waterpump was replaced as well as all hoses.Transmission was serviced and shift bushings replaced,total ticket-$6000.This is wonderful as the second owner had the insight to refresh the mechanics to bring them to the level of the rest of the car.These would be items that would be prudent to address on a very low mileage example.
I did a video on the car,be patient as it is very long and informative,this car deserves a long hard review.In addition,it was hard to stop taking pictures as everything is so beautiful,crisp and reflects the care the car has enjoyed.The components on the car still are so well preserved it looks and even smells like it did on the showroom in 1982.
